We, as Istanbul Kurdish Institute, have just published a new book including speeches and conversations within “Conference of Middle East Literature and Multiculturalism” which was an organization of the Institute in cooperation with
Diyarbakýr
Metropolitan
Municipality and some NGO’s on behalf of First Diyarbakýr Literature Days.
Literature has an important role and place in the history of the humanity. For this reason, it has a considerable place in people’s life. Literature is the color and harmony of social life. The development level of the societies depends on their literary, artistic and cultural development level.
Conference of Middle East Literature and Multiculturalism is a major step for peace and fraternity of the peoples. Thanks to that conference, the Kurds from the four parts of
Kurdistan have come together and debated on Kurdish Literature for the first time. In addition, holding the conference in
Diyarbakýr added great value to the event. For this reason, this conference has been a historical step in the history of Kurdish people.
